How German 3PLs Read a Warehouse Supervisor CV
What recruiters at third-party logistics sites look for first—and which details quietly drop you from the shortlist.
When a German third-party logistics recruiter opens a warehouse supervisor CV, they rarely start with your personal statement. They scan for site size, shift ownership, and whether you have supervised temporary staff during peak seasons such as Black Friday or Easter ramps.
Put headcount and square metres early. “Supervised 28 pickers across two shifts in a 12,000 m² cross-dock near Bremen” beats a vague claim about leadership. Name the WMS family if you used it daily—without turning the CV into a software brochure. Recruiters care that you closed inventory discrepancies and kept dock doors moving, not that you “leveraged platforms.”
Language matters. If German is your working language on the floor, say so. If you interview in English but give instructions in German, write that clearly. Many logistics employers in Niedersachsen and neighbouring states still reject otherwise strong candidates who bury language ability at the bottom.
Avoid copying KPI jargon from corporate templates. One concrete example—reducing overtime during a promotion week by rebalancing wave planning—carries more weight than a list of abstract efficiencies. If you are preparing a CV refresh with Netinfrasolutions, bring two recent job adverts so wording can match how German 3PLs actually advertise supervisor posts.
